The restaurant, where we also serve breakfast for our hotel-guests, is divided into 2 rooms - the 'Gaststube' with its big panoramic windows and the 'Bauernstüberl' furnished with wood of an old local farmhouse.
At convenient wether conditions you can also make use of the sun-terrace which provides a sensational mountain-view.

Our cuisine is focused on local dishes, especially game and fish. Also we offer traditional and vegetarian food.
The game meat is supplied only from Austrian local hunters. Trout and char com from the fish-breeder Hans Rettensteiner located in Forstau. They are kept in our little fish-pond until they are caught and prepared freshly at the time of your restaurant order.
